“Our towns are exciting but also quite crazy. It is very difficult to find real peace of mind and really get to one’s center in the towns. We should always have places around our towns where people can go and spend maybe a weekend, maybe a week, just looking into their own minds and getting to know their minds. Away from telephones, away from most other things that distract.” - Lama Ole Nydahl, about retreat centers.
This October, join us for a weekend of meditation and teachings at our precious Glentui Retreat Centre with Sarah Primus from Australia.

About the Ngondro
Sarah’s teachings will focus on what is commonly called the Ngondro or Preliminary Practices. This is a series of four meditations that develop a deep understanding of the goal and the way; purify the mind from heavy imprints left as a result of former harmful actions; and create countless positive impressions, which make a basis for the practice of Mahamudra, or the Great Seal.
This course is for students of Lama Ole Nydahl and regular practitioners of a Diamond Way Buddhism city centre.
Sarah met Lama Ole in Perth in 1996 when she was 17 years old. After graduating from a Bachelor of Psychology & Indigenous studies, she started a seven-year period of traveling to different Diamond Way centres and teaching English overseas from Nepal to Europe. Now based in Perth, she is a busy working mum and continues her involvement with both local and international Diamond Way projects. Lama Ole asked her to start teaching in 2012.
